For centuries, women’s voices were absent from the sacred conversation of Torah interpretation. Today, that silence is being rewritten. Based on Dirshuni, a groundbreaking collection of modern midrashim by Israeli women, this course explores how female scholars and writers are reshaping Jewish commentary.

Together we’ll study their bold, creative and deeply spiritual readings that expand and enrich our understanding of Torah. All texts will be studied in English.
