When the Torah Tells It Again

Tuesdays - Beginning October 6

11:00 AM

What We Will Cover

Why does the Torah sometimes tell the same story twice, but with different details? Did Moses remember events differently? Is the Torah contradicting itself? Or is something much deeper happening?

In this engaging, text-based study, we’ll read the Torah closely, comparing parallel passages, from the Ten Commandments and the revelation at Sinai to the appointment of judges, the story of the spies and more. Together we’ll explore how each retelling adds new meaning, fresh perspective and deeper insight.

Drawing on the biblical text and centuries of Jewish interpretation,

we’ll discover how careful reading transforms familiar stories into powerful conversations about faith, memory, leadership and Jewish life.
