What We Will Cover

Joy is not just an emotion in Judaism, it is a spiritual calling. This 8-week class explores how the Hebrew Bible presents simcha (joy) as a divine mandate, a response to creation and a sustaining force in covenant, worship, relationships and even in times of struggle. Together we will trace how joy emerges as a central thread in Jewish life and uncover what it means to embrace joy as a sacred way of living.
