This Shabbat is known as ‘Shabbat Shira' or the Sabbath of Song. We will explore the power of song to liberate ourselves from our narrow places and discover the unique voice through which each of us is called to express and embody the work of creating a more loving and compassionate world.

Rabbi David Ingber of NYC’s Romemu will lead this 3-day retreat along with IJKL’s Rabbi Akiva Mann, Rabbi David Paskin, and Cantorial Soloist Laura Lenes. The weekend of events will include text study with Rabbi Ingber at B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca and the Dr. Abraham J. Gittleson Day of Learning, sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Broward County.

Location and Accommodations:
The entire Retreat Experience will be held at the Sheraton Suites - Cypress Creek Fort Lauderdale (just west of I-95 at Cypress Creek Blvd). We recommend that you stay at the hotel and give yourself the full peace and relaxation of staying on-site. This gives you the ease of being present and fully connecting with the experience.
