for the soul
A Spark of the Shabbaton -Event Details
Kabbalat Shabbat Experience - Arrive Friday at 5:30 PM for candle lighting, davening and joyful singing. Enjoy an intimate Shabbat dinner followed by Rabbi David Ingber's teaching. Experience Kabbalat Shabbat in a way that is uniquely Rabbi David and Romemu.
Havdallah Melavah Malka - Arrive Saturday at 7:30 PM for deeply experiential Havdallah. Melavah Malka means "Escorting the Queen" and is the last lingering tastes of Shabbat that serves to begin the process of infusing the holiness of Shabbat into the week ahead. Learning, singing, storytelling and delicious and healthy food will fill our hearts, souls and stomachs. Look for very special guest teachers and musicians will make this night truly extraordinary.
Awesome Day of Learning - Arrive Sunday at 9:30 AM for this journey of heart, mind and soul. The faculty for this event are some of the best teachers and leaders known in the Jewish community. We are so very fortunate to have them addressing the topic, "Be Real Now: How to Love, Live and Pray like We Mean It." The program will offer insights that will richly inspire us. The program ends at 2:30 PM.
Please note that the only way to spend Shabbat in community, davening, participating in the Torah service, and learning with Rabbi David on Shabbat is to participate in the entire Shabbaton Experience (with or without accommodations).
